Directions
For use above and below waterline. Flush and overlapping joints, bedding of hardware, thru hulls, windshields, portholes, and electrical connections. Ensure surface is clean dry and free from any foreign material. If necessary, clean with acetone to remove any dirt and grime. Priming is normally not necessary. Cut tip and puncture seal, apply sealant to the substrate or void. Once filled, use mineral spirts on your tools to smooth surface. Sudbury® Elastomeric Sealant skins within 10 minutes but requires mechanical fastening and a cure time of 1 to 7 days depending on the temperature and humidity. Best used between 40F and 130F. Sealant may be sanded and painted once fully cured. To test for cure, apply small amount of pressure to sealant. Fully cured sealant will leave no marks once pressure is released. Use mineral spirits for cleanup. 1/4′ bead will cover 39 lineal feet.
